Experience the art of Mindfulness Vedic Meditation by immersing yourself in the practice. Picture yourself in a serene setting, reclining on a soft, sandy beach with a refreshing cocktail. As you gaze out at the tranquil ocean, calm washes over you. At this moment, there are no concerns or anxieties to trouble your mind. Everything feels harmonious and flawless. Your attention is drawn to the rhythmic dance of the waves as they gracefully unfold upon the shore. Each wave takes its turn, gracefully retreating into the vast expanse of the ocean.
Why do I get many thoughts when I meditate?
In Vedic witness-guided Vedic Meditation, the focus is not on analyzing every thought that enters your mind. Instead, you observe them as they come and go, almost like watching a movie. Doing so makes you realize that thoughts are empty until you assign them significance. It's important not to get caught up in any particular thought related to the past, present, or future. Rather than accepting, rejecting, recalling, or imagining, you let the thought pass by without holding onto it.
You observe this spectacle from a distance, detached from any judgments or attachments. You neither rejoice in their arrival nor despise their departure. Your sole purpose is to observe. You are not the ocean, beach, or wave itself. You are merely a witness, observing the waves from afar.

Observe as thoughts emerge from various angles and directions, allowing them to flow freely. Remain aware and acknowledge that the stream of ideas has commenced. Instead of engaging with them, let them come and go without attachment. Avoid pursuing them, analyzing them, or dismissing them. Just as you observe the waves, observe the thoughts.
Thoughts hold no significance until we assign meaning to them. Now that you no longer entertain them, they will fade away silently. You will notice an expanding gap between consecutive thoughts with regular Vedic Meditation practice. This signifies the profound success of your Vedic Meditation journey. Just as you observe the majestic gap between the waves of the ocean, so shall you observe the flow of thoughts within your consciousness.
